It is important to measure the external dimensions of the slabs, billets, or steel ingots produced by the continuous casting line in order to provide the correct billet for the hot rolling line. Changzhou Baigang has developed a special laser measurement sensor that can directly perform non-contact high-precision measurement on high-temperature workpieces in harsh environments of continuous casting lines. The typical applications of sensors include detecting workpieces at different positions such as in front of coding and labeling machines or deburring machines.
