Stereoscopic angle width measuring instrument
The design and installation of a stereoscopic width measurement system above the roller conveyor of hot-rolled strip steel and hot-rolled plate is a new technology for measuring the width of strip/plate products. For applications at the exit of roughing mills or finishing mills, the self thermal radiation of the red hot strip/plate provides sufficient contrast for width measurement. For other applications where the temperature of the strip/sheet is below 600 ° C, we can provide a rear or front light source.
The principle of stereoscopic angle measurement overcomes the inherent difficulties in width measurement of hot-rolled strip/plate, such as uneven thickness, inclination, warping, and jumping of the strip.
Cutting optimization system
The cutting optimization system captures the head and tail images of the intermediate billet. By analyzing the image, the target contour is calculated, and the optimal cutting length is determined based on the shape of the target’s head and tail and the cutting strategy. These cutting points can be adjusted by the operator and transmitted to the cutting controller. It can significantly reduce shear losses.
